Chapeltown Community Garden

In August 2023 North Turton Parish Council, in partnership with Edgworth & District Horticultural Society, successfully applied for a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund to restore and transform the garden into a tranquil place for all residents and visitors to regularly use.

On Saturday 28 September the Chapeltown Village Residents Association arranged a re-opening event and invited the residents of Chapeltown to come along and see for themselves the work that has been done in restoring the Cross and the gardens so that everybody can enjoy spending time there. Thank you to all who turned out .... even though the weather tried to spoil the occasion.
